Curriculam
It would be endeavored by the Governing Body to enforce the course curriculum as promulgated by Coast Guard Headquarters Synopsis of Curriculum for CGKG. Approved course curriculum of the various classes is being strictly followed in the school. It is ensured by the Headmistress that all teachers make lesson plans for the year in accordance with course curriculum. Weekly lesson plans are also prepared and the same is produced by the Headmistress as and when required by the Officer-in-Charge, CGKG or Management Committee. Headmistress also ensures course curriculum prescribed by the Governing Body is followed in totality. Deviations from the above has prior approval of the Governing Body.
The detailed academic curriculum specific to CGKGs is promulgated by Coast Guard Headquarters inclusive of defined textbooks. The curriculum is formulated as per the latest National Education Policy and is subject to revision as and when NEP is revised.
The academic calendar of the school commences on 01 Apr every year and end on 31 Mar of the following year.
